Gorgeous Original, Antique Emerald Green French Demi Johns/Dame Jeanne in Beautiful Condition. I call these Demi Johns or Carboys, in France they are called Dame-Jeanne ("Lady Jane"). They say the name originated in the 14th century after Queen Jeanne of Naples sought refuge from a storm in a Glassmaker's cottage, where she watched a large bottle being blown by hand & named it after herself.
